We are pleased to announce that Raleigh Pediatric Associate's Garner Location was recently awarded LEED Certification. The facility incorporates daylighting, local and recycled materials, and sustainable practices into its design.
Natural light fills the patron areas, doctor and nurse stations, and interior corridors while daylight monitors and sunscreens reduce the demand for manufactured energy. A large amount of rock found during early construction was crushed on site and reused as fill material in the process.
The lighting, views, bold colors, shapes, and patterns all make for a fun and enjoyable experience for young patients and their families.
